You must have a UK registered company to take part in a  UK Trade & Investment Trade Mission

During challenging economic times, CleanTech and Sustainable Construction remain relative bright spots in the economies of both Canada and the USA. British companies with industry specific products and services are invited to join us in a week long mission to the region and exploring the opportunities that this region offers – including the coastal regeneration work taking place after Hurricane Sandy.

Our New York programme includes roundtable discussions with the US Green Building Council and State Officials involved in the infrastructure investment projects taking place in the New York region, meetings with key construction groups and the ACEEE. Alongside presentations from architectural practices such as FXFOWLE we will also have the opportunity for a site visit and meetings with leading construction companies such as McGraw Hill who will present their Green Building Report. Our official reception at the consulate will be attended by key decision makers and influencers in the New York City and State area.

Moving on to Boston we are arranging a design build session with MIT, the Design Industry Group of Massachusetts and the Massachusetts Clean Energy Centre. Mission participants will have the opportunity to network with representatives of leading organisations such as Fraunhoefer CSE as well as meeting representatives from the local design and build communities at an official reception held at the Consulate

From Boston we head to Toronto, the largest city in Canada where UKTI has partnered with the Canada Green Building Council to host a day conference with the leading companies from the province of Ontario where mission participants will have the chance to meet with and present to an audience of key decision makers and influencers in the Greenbuild community.

Whether you are new to the US and Canadian market or already actively engaged, this mission will offer you the chance to get right to the heart of the green construction sector in the North East USA and Canada.
